February is cold

So it’s February and we have had the dubious honour of being the coldest place in the universe, colder than Mars.  We were very happy there weren’t any gigs going on that coldest day.  I could go on about how it makes us hardy and of good character but the truth of the matter is that the only good thing about the polar vortex is that crime is down while it’s here.  I find that somewhat comforting.  That and food.  Nothing says polar vortex like lying on the couch covered with your puppy banket and eating while watching movies.  Well that and wine.  Speaking of wine,  Valentines day is just around the corner.  This is not a day of celebration in our house.  It’s another lying on the couch covered with your puppy blanket eating and drinking while watching movies day.  My husband and I have been together for 40 years so valentines day is just another day in paradise for me.  I have included the most romantic card I could find for my husband in the body of this blog, feel free to print it and give it to your significant other.  Cheers
